KULTURE VULTURE: a Journal of New Writing
If you would like to submit your lyrics to the Kulture Vulture talons:
*-Email 3-6 poems as an attachment (Word, Rich Text, etc.) or in the body of the email to
the Kulture Vulture editors (include "submission" in the subject heading).
*-The Editors plan to present an eclectic variety of writers representing the broad spectrum of contemporary letters. Each issue of Kulture Vulture will feature up & coming talent next to more established writers.
We invite works of intellectual and emotional daring, risk-taking, noble failures, courage, lyrical intensity.
*-Also consider some good words of Teddy Roosevelt (not a small man):
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat."
That shall suffice as well.
We welcome writing that defies "schools" or "labels" ("labels" being an abomination…). Instead, our best hope is for a multiplicity of voices, writers not normally gathered together, and hope a conversation of sorts will emerge from these differences.
Kulture Vulture receives only
first-time on-line/electronic rights. All rights, both cyber and print revert back to the
author. So join us for this unique, (albeit foolhardy) cyber-endeavor.
There are new, strange furrows to plow. We hope to see you there.
